The UBC Environment and Actions is the right word to define our work at the UBC Environment and Sustainable Development Secretariat. We are the co-ordination and service unit for the implementation of the UBC Agenda 21 Action Programme 2004-2009 - Roadmap for Sustainable Baltic Cities. Our aim is to serve the cities in sustainable development and environmental management. With the staff of 14 professionals, we provide services for our member cities: organize Environmental Commission meetings twice a year, provide assistance with networking and connecting people, produce sufficient documents and publications, as well as initiate and run the projects. More up to date information can be found in the Baltic Cities Environmental Bulletin which contains various environmental topics from our member cities. Need a contact or an example of a good practice tested in another Baltic city? You are most welcome to get in touch with us in any question concerning our work, services and sustainable development in the Baltic Cities.
