Union of the Baltic Cities

The UBC was founded in 1991 and is a constantly growing organisation with 100 member cities in all ten countries surrounding the Baltic Sea.

Through twelve different commissions and a network, the UBC focuses on business cooperation, culture, education, energy, environment, health and social affairs, information society, sport, tourism, transportation, urban planning, youth issues and the gender equality.

The Union of the Baltic Cities' core organisation consists of the Presidium, the Executive Board and the Secretariat. The General Conference is the highest decision making body of the UBC and it held every second year in a UBC Member City.
